Background - Certain marine surveyors are permitted to use a designation denoting membership in accrediting organizations that require members to meet strict professional, technical, and ethical standards. Joseph Curry is long standing member of and is Accredited through Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS) with membership in the International Association of Marine Investigators (IAMI); American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and employs ABYC, NFPA and U.S.C.G. standards in the examinations and reporting of vessels.
