Background - Certain marine surveyors are permitted to use a designation denoting membership in accrediting organizations that require members to meet strict professional, technical, ethical standards, while keeping most of the Surveyor "lacking qualification" - "Wannabes" at bay.

Joseph Curry is long standing Accredited member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS) with aditioanl memberships in the International Association of Marine Investigators (IAMI); American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and employs ABYC, NFPA and U.S.C.G. standards in all of the examinations and reporting of vessels.

Marine surveys are performed for a variety of reasons. Procedures and fees for each type of survey varies to best suit the needs of the situation and our customer. Our surveys are accepted by all major insurers and lenders.

Our Services include Pre-Purchase, and Condition & Value (Insurance) surveys as well as Damage Assessment & Reporting, Cargo Damage Claims, Hurricane Catastrophe Duty, as well as providing Loadline Letters of Stability for passenger vessels.
